Bettendorf, IA – February 14, 2010 – QC Anime-zing! 2010, the premier anime convention on the Iowa/Illinois border is excited to announce two additions to their guest lineup: Carrie Savage, voice actress with roles in dozens of titles; and The Man Power, a rock n roll band.
Carrie Savage has lent her talent to over fifty anime and video game titles, from Paranoia Agent to Star Ocean to Tsubase Reservior Chronicles. In addition to her voice acting talents, she has a background in theater and is a small time film actress. She has also spent time helping struggling children and adults in third world countries.
The Man Power, who will be opening for Eyeshine on Saturday, is a rock n roll band that released their first self titled EP in 2008 with a CD release show with Japanese punk rock musicians Peelander-Z. The Man Power has played at anime conventions such as MTAC, EXPCon, and Persacon, and has shared a stage with groups such as The Slants, The Protomen, and Zombie Bazooka Patrol.
